Celebrating 31 years of Irish Foods in Kerry

Since its inception in 1995, the Listowel Food Fair, now in its 31st year, is one of the longest-running food festivals in Ireland, hosted by the North Kerry culinary and literary town of Listowel. Listowel and surrounding North Kerry hinterlands have a reputation for their lush landscapes and fertile land, making it an ideal location for the production of high-quality food and beverages. As such, the Listowel Food Fair became a platform for many food producers to highlight their artisan food products such as cheeses, baked goods, beverages, and more. The Listowel Food Fair not only celebrates the region’s culinary offerings but also its cultural heritage.

The key objective of the Listowel Food Fair is to increase awareness of the range and quality of Kerry and Irish food products through a variety of measures including seminars, tastings and cookery demonstrations, something to tempt all palates. Each year the Listowel Food Fair Committee works hard to improve the quality of events, bringing a new and innovative agenda to the table. The 2026 Listowel Food Fair has an extensive programme of events with something to tempt all palates, from Farming Seminars, School visits, Cookery Demonstrations and Tasting Competitions.

Each year, the Listowel Food Fair Awards recognise the Best Emerging Artisan Food Producers, Food Writers, Food Innovators, Food Heroes and the prestigious 2026 Listowel Food Fair Lifetime Achievement Award. Join us for the presentation of the 2026 Listowel Food Fair Awards, for an evening of great fun and great food.
