About Us
The Listowel Food Fair is one of Ireland’s longest running food festivals based in Listowel, Co. Kerry, Ireland and was established in 1995. Listowel and surrounding areas have a reputation for its lush landscapes and fertile land, making it an ideal location for the production of high-quality food and beverages. As such, the Listowel Food Fair became a platform for many food producers to highlight their artisan food products such as cheeses, baked goods, beverages, and more. The Listowel Food Fair not only celebrates the region’s culinary offerings but also its cultural heritage.
The Listowel Food Fair had its origins in the promotion of local agricultural and culinary traditions. Agricultural fairs and food markets have long been a part of Irish culture, celebrating the region’s agricultural and culinary excellence. Over the years, the event evolved from a traditional agricultural fair into a specialised food fair.
Listowel Food Fair has celebrated many successful years of promoting culinary talent and fostering a sense of community pride. The festival has continued to evolve and adapt to changing tastes and trends while staying true to its mission of celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Listowel and Co. Kerry.
The Listowel Food Fair would like to recognise and thank our valued 2024 Sponsors for whom without their support this festival would not be be possible.
